HELLO! My name is Hazen Stevens. I am a full time missionary and executive leader at IHOP Atlanta, with emphasis on staff and community development. I also serve part time as Co- Director of OneRace Movement. I am a husband, father, pastor, evangelist, cross cultural missions coach, singer and musician.
In my 20s, I left the security and familiarity of the walking out the traditional path in search of true fulfillment and transformation…And I found it! I currently live in Lawrenceville, GA with my wife Hannah and our four children Amarin (8), Chesed (5), Pearl (4), and Elisha (3).
When I was in college, I was studying Business Administration and Environmental Studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Although I was excelling in my coursework, at the end of the day I knew I wasn’t satisfied. I grew up in denominational church where my experience with God was religion and not relationship. At the age of 20 I began to experience the voice of God in the midst of relational challenge. Through the experience of God’s voice in my life, I was awakened to the reality of the God who loves and desires relationship with me. Shortly thereafter, I began ministry with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, where I was marked with passion to share with the lost.
In 2007 I married the love of my life, Hannah. I began my career with International House of Prayer Atlanta in 2006, and Hannah joined the staff in 2008. Since then, we have served in many areas of the ministry. My first leadership position within IHOP was cleaning the House of Prayer, and I would joyfully return to it. One of the greatest honors of my life was to lead a company of missionaries with my wife from 2011 to 2015 in sustaining the night shift of the 24/7 prayer and worship.
Currently, I serve as the Domestic Director of Finish the TASK, the missions agency of IHOP Atlanta, and am the head of training for the IHOP Atlanta Missions base which involves internships, seminars, and conferences. In 2017 I became Co-Director of OneRace Movement, an organization focused on racial reconciliation and revival for the Southeast. I travel to speak with other churches and communities on subjects such as evangelism, prophecy, healing, racial reconciliation, revival and communication. Furthermore, I am a cross cultural communications life coach, and am honored to coach others as they discover and step into their calling.
